For a $250 fee, enjoy a one-hour on-site consultation where we explore your design desires and assess the project scope. We’ll discuss the budget, measure the space, and provide initial design advice. If you have a Pinterest board or inspirational pictures, we would love to see it! This will help us capture your style and set clear objectives for the project.

After our consultation, I’ll outline a detailed scope of work and provide a design fee proposal with an estimated budget. Upon your approval, you’ll sign a contract and make a deposit to secure your spot in my calendar and kickstart your project.

The design phase consists of two key stages: Programming and Schematic Design.
In the Programming Stage, we dive deep into understanding your vision and preferences. We start by gathering detailed information about your project, including your lifestyle needs and aesthetic desires. Using this information, we create functional layouts with bubble diagrams that optimize the spatial relationships within your space. These diagrams are vital as they ensure the space is both visually appealing and highly functional. Our goal is to lay a solid foundation for your project, setting the stage for a harmonious blend of style and utility.
Next, we develop an inspirational conceptual design that encapsulates the essence of your vision. This step allows you to see and feel the overall direction we are heading in, giving you a clear understanding of the look and feel we are creating for your project.
Building on the foundation laid in the Programming stage, we transition into the Schematic Design phase. Here, we transform the initial concepts into detailed, to-scale floor plans and elevations. These drawings establish the precise aesthetic direction of your project, detailing the layout, dimensions, and relationships of all design elements. The schematic plans are instrumental in guiding the overall design course, ensuring that every aspect of the space aligns with your vision and functional requirements. They serve as a roadmap, translating conceptual designs into a tangible plan that will shape your beautiful and functional space.

FF&E stands for Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment, and this phase is all about bringing your design to life with the right pieces. After finalizing the design, we embark on 'The Hunt'—the exciting process of selecting everything from appliances, lighting, and plumbing fixtures to cabinetry and millwork finishes.
We also curate material finishes, including carpet, flooring, fabrics, paint colors, wallcoverings, and custom furniture. Our in-house procurement team handles the entire bidding process with trusted contractors and vendors, ensuring you get the best options for your project. We also manage the purchase and schedule the installation of all materials, furnishings, fixtures, and accessories, providing a seamless transition from design to reality.

This is an exciting moment of the process because the project is no longer a dream it is now a reality. As your project comes to life, we act as your liaison with the general contractor, providing weekly site visits and progress reports. Our coordination ensures quality and adherence to your design vision.
